The ABA season is set to begin! Six games await the Kingsmen in The Week Ahead, and it all starts Tuesday:
Tuesday, February 24th:
Varsity: ๐ P27 Academy (11:30am)

The ABA Kickoff begins for the Kingsmen, and the Varsity squad takes on P27 to open things up. The game will be played on Field 5.
About P27: P27 Baseball Academy is based in Lexington, South Carolina, near Columbia. Founded in 2018, the Blacksmiths boast four MLB draft picks and numerous division one commits from their collection of alumni. The Kingsmen are 1-0 against P27 this season with their win coming against P27’s premier team.

Prospect: ๐ Wellington Sports Academy (2pm)

Immediately following the varsity contest, the KBA’s Prospect squad will battle their southern division opponent, Wellington Sports Academy. That game will begin on Field #2.
About Wellington Sports Academy: WSA is based in Wellington, Florida, located in between Jupiter and Boca Raton off the Eastern coast of the Sunshine State. Founded by ten-year NFL veteran Jon Bostic, who is a Wellington native, Wellington offers programs for Grades 6-12. WSA encompasses five sports, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball and football.

Wednesday, February 25th:
Varsity: ๐ Georgia Premier (11:30am)
๐East Cobb, GA
Following its matchup with P27, the Kingsmen Varsity lineup will battle Georgia Premier on Field 5.
About Georgia Premier: Georgia Premier Academy was founded in 2017, located inland from Savannah in Statesboro, Georgia. Similarly to the Kingsmen, Georgia Premier teaches Christian values into its players in addition to the work they do on the baseball field. The Red Sox are founded by former Colorado Rockies draft selection Gene Reynolds, and boast 19 MLB draft selections. The Kingsmen will play them just once in East Cobb, but will head to Statesboro one week later for a three game series on the road.

Once again, the Prospect team wraps up the day against WSA, with a third game coming Thursday. The game will be played on Field 1.

For the only time in East Cobb, the Kingsmen Prospect team will be the first game of KBA’s day, slated for an early start on Field 5 to wrap up three in a row against Wellington.

Varsity: ๐ Eastern Carolina Academy (2pm)
๐East Cobb, GA
Three opponents in three days for KBA’s varsity unit, who will wrap up East Cobb with a battle against fellow North Carolina academy ECA. That game will also be played on Field #5, and will not begin until the conclusion of the Prospect contest.
About Eastern Carolina Academy: ECA is based in Goldsboro, North Carolina, over 3 hours from the Kingsmen’s home in Gastonia. The Kingsmen will take the trip to ECA in late April, for two Prospect games and three Varsity games. Eastern Carolina Academy’s coaching staff includes two former minor leaguers. Additionally, ECA coach Adam Pate is a former teammate of Kingsmen Associate Head Coach Preston Hudak, the two playing together for a year at the University of North Carolina.
