GASTONIA, N.C. — The Gaston College Rhinos host the Kingsmen on Tuesday in what serves to be a good test for the KBA.
Last Friday, the Kingsmen came close to their first win of the fall over a collegiate opponent, when they took a lead into the seventh inning against Guilford Tech before ultimately ending the game in a tie.
Following that solid result, the schedule gets even tougher when they head to Sims Legion to take on the Rhinos. Gaston College, one of the premier Junior Colleges in the area, finished the 2026 Spring Season an impressive 54-5.
The Kingsmen will be familiar with their surroundings, seeing as how Sims Legion Park has served as the Kingsmen’s practice field this fall. Time will tell who will emerge between these two teams that call Sims home.
