Another busy week for the KBA, this time though, all games in the Carolinas! The team prepares for a homestand as we take a look at The Week Ahead:
Monday, March 30th:

Fresh off of two wins against Bennett Academy in Houston, the KBA’s varsity squad tries to keep it rolling at home.
About Grace Academy: Grace Academy is a private Christian high school in Matthews, NC. Founded in 2000, the school is home to nearly 500 students. The Lions come into the matchup 7-3, and boast 2027 hitter Seth Stanton, who comes into the matchup hitting .714 this spring. The Kingsmen and the Lions square off twice in 2026.

Tuesday, March 31st:
Propsect (8-3 in ABA): π Dominion Sports Collective (12:00pm DH)
π: Gardner-Webb University (Boiling Springs, NC)
After getting swept by the Wolves in Richmond, Virginia, the Kingsmen will be ready for revenge against DSC this week. With both teams a half game back of the ABA leaders, every game between the two teams will be crucial.
About DSC: Dominion Sports Collective is based in the heart of Virginia, in the state’s capital of Virginia. Similarly to the Kingsmen, DSC is a new academy operating for its first season. DSC’s president, Matt Laney, is a former pitcher at Coastal Carolina, while their head coach, Charlie Dragum, played at VCU before beginning a high school coaching career that saw him take home three state championships. The Kingsmen and the Wolves of Dominion Sports Collegiate will battle it out six times in total this season. So far, the Kingsmen are 0-3 against DSC.

One final matchup awaits us between two of the top ballclubs in the ABA, as the Kingsmen host the Wolves in one last clash.

Thursday, April 2nd:
Varsity: @ PRO5 (1:00pm DH)
π: Durham, NC
To wrap up the week, the varsity guys battled the Fighters of PRO5 in two games in Durham. It’s the second week in a row the Kingsmen will battle NAA competition after the Bennett series last week.
About PRO5: PRO5 is a year-round program that has academies in two cities: Raleigh and Nashville. Last week, PRO5 played games in Puerto Rico, and representing the USA, won their tournament against international competition. This will be one of two doubleheaders these two teams play against one another, with the Kingsmen playing once again in May against the Fighters, at Gardner-Webb.
