This Dominican Republic trip has been a life changer for me, to helping out at an orphanage the first few days, to visiting the school today to do face painting and so much in between, it has been an incredible journey. We have also gotten the pleasure to play four baseball games while we were down here as well, and to meet many Dominican born players with lots of talent at the mound and plate. But what stood out to me the most was yesterday, we delivered food bags to a very poor village. This village had nothing, and what shocked me was how happy everyone was. It was a self reflection journey for me, for me to complain about something so simple in my daily life, it opened my eyes on how truly grateful I should be. It also helps me realize how truly blessed I am, and how God the Lord has been to me. I am grateful God has allowed this trip for me to happen to grow my walk with him, and to provide aid to fellow believers and humans as well..
